Dreamlit connects to Shopify through the Dreamlit Shopify app. Once the app is installed on your store, the things that happen there, like orders, checkouts, and customer signups, can trigger email workflows you describe in plain English. Dreamlit designs the email, writes the copy, chooses the audience, and sends it.
Not on Shopify? Dreamlit also connects directly to Supabase and PostgreSQL databases for SaaS and product teams.

What Shopify data Dreamlit uses

Dreamlit works from your orders, customers, products, inventory, and checkouts. Your emails can react to what actually happens in your store, like a product someone bought, a cart they left behind, or stock coming back. You can preview every email against your real store data before anything sends.

What you can build

  • Abandoned checkout recovery that references what the shopper left behind
  • Order confirmations and shipping updates that match your brand
  • Welcome, win-back, and back-in-stock flows
  • Discount follow-ups and wholesale reminders
  • One-off campaigns to any audience you describe in plain English
Add your store’s website and Dreamlit pulls your logo, colors, fonts, and footer into reusable Brand Styles, so every email looks like your store rather than a default template.

Connecting your store

1

Request access

Start at dreamlit.ai/for-shopify and click Join Shopify Beta. We’ll follow up with an install link for the Dreamlit Shopify app tied to your store.
2

Install the Dreamlit Shopify app

Open the install link, review the requested permissions in your Shopify admin, and approve the install.
3

Dreamlit finishes setup

After the install, Dreamlit sets up your store’s connection and lets you know when your data is ready to power workflows. There is nothing to configure on your side.
4

Create your first workflow

Describe the email you want in plain English, preview it with real store data, and publish when you’re happy with it.

Permissions and security

  • You grant access when you install the app, and you can revoke it at any time by uninstalling.
  • Access tokens are encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Store data is used to build, preview, and send your emails, and Dreamlit never modifies your store.
  • If you need a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), you can review ours.

Other platforms

Shopify is supported today in beta. WooCommerce is next in line, and you can request other platforms from the platform roadmap so we know where to go next.
