What is Dreamlit?
If you’re a growing company, you probably have users sitting dormant in your database, stalled out at some point in their user journey. What’s the best way to activate them? What email sequences, messaging, timing, and optimizations should you run to get the most of your current funnel? Dreamlit is for the teams that would rather leave it to the experts than experiment themselves. We’ve supported thousands of customers running email, and have compiled everything we’ve learned into a series of playbooks that we can bring to you. Getting started is easy, thanks to Dreamlit’s database driven approach. There’s no SDK, no API to implement, or engineers to coordinate with. After a 15 minute setup (a read-only database connection), you can leave the rest to Dreamlit from there. We’ll start tracking key metrics for you, configure the right email workflows end-to-end, and optimize everything, without needing any additional effort required from you. What can I expect?
You can expect:- More paying customers and/or subscriptions

What email sequences do you typically implement?
We’ve supported thousands of customers running email, and have learned what really moves the needle. We’ve distilled what works into playbooks across three types: product education, win-back, and upsell. Here’s what we’d do for you.You won’t necessarily need all of these sequences, and this certainly isn’t an
exhaustive list. What you’ll need depends on your industry, how your current
funnel performs, and how your users already engage with email.
- Welcome sequence: probably the most important sequence we will implement for you. Welcome emails typically receive outsized open rates - presenting an incredible opportunity for user activation and feature education. The more personalized you can get, the more likely they’re going to engage. Most companies do a basic single email, if any; this is like lighting engagement on fire. Sophisticated companies take it much further: hyper-personalized per signup, reactive to what each user has already done, with feature education folded in based on the features they actually use.
- Monthly product update: so your users can hear all the shiny new updates since they last heard from you. We can run this for you every month, in your voice.
- Payment failure recovery: a failed payment automatically gets a plain note and a link to update the payment method, so you don’t need to chase them down yourself.
- Key feature nudges: users who stay active after onboarding but never reach a key step get a short push to try it, using their own work in the email as the example.
- Activity digests: where your product has activity worth reporting back (views, usage, results), a weekly digest of each user’s own numbers, which is one of the strongest pulls back into a product.
- Upgrade emails at usage limits: sent as a user approaches a plan limit, framed around the work they are doing right then, so the upgrade lands before the wall instead of after it.
- Trial ending reminder: a customized reminder to give your users a heads up that they will be losing access to key features, with exactly what resources they’ll be losing outlined in the email to nudge them to upgrade.
- Teammate invite reminders: when an invite sits unaccepted, the invitee gets a reminder showing what their teammate has built since, so more invites turn into seats.
- Highly personal, not promotional: plain, lightly formatted emails in your voice, sent from a real name at your domain.
- Dynamic and real-time: every sequence starts from a database trigger, and each email dynamically adapts to what that user has already done at various points in time, so it references their own progress instead of a generic pitch.
- Sent at the right moment, not on a calendar: workflows fire off live activity in your database, with frequency guardrails so nobody gets buried in email.
- Measured against your baseline: each sequence reports a tracked metric, verified against your baseline, and we keep adjusting as the data comes in.
