Acceptable Use Policy
Deliverability is a team sport. Email providers are only as strong as the senders who use them—so to keep inbox placement healthy for everyone on Dreamlit, we enforce rules that prevent abusive sending and help us comply with the law.
Some types of sending simply aren’t allowed. This policy explains what’s not acceptable so we can protect your deliverability (and everyone else’s).

Enforcement
If you violate this policy, we may pause sending, suspend, or terminate your account. Depending on severity (and your responsiveness), we’ll usually try to work with you before disruption—but we may act immediately when needed to protect deliverability and prevent abuse.
Refunds aren’t issued for policy violations. And once emails are sent, we can’t “unsend” them—so we don’t offer refunds for partial quota usage after sending.
Sending Health Targets
In addition to content and list hygiene, your sending should stay within these thresholds:
- Complaint rate (spam complaints) must be below 0.08%.
- Bounce rate must be below 4%.
If your complaint or bounce rates exceed these thresholds, your sending may be paused or your account may be suspended without notice.
Prohibited Purposes
You may not use Dreamlit to send email for any of the following:
- Spam: bulk, non-personalized, unsolicited messages without prior consent.
- Phishing: impersonation or deceptive emails meant to steal information or trick recipients.
- Illegal activity: promoting or enabling unlawful behavior.
- Low-quality sending: campaigns that generate excessive bounces or complaints.
- Malicious content: malware, viruses, or anything designed to harm or compromise systems.
- Harassment: threatening, intimidating, or abusive communication.
- Interference: attempts to overburden, disrupt, or impair Dreamlit or any other service.
Prohibited Content
Some content categories are not allowed on our platform, including:
- Illegal goods or services
- Content that violates CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or other applicable laws/regulations
- Pornography or sexually explicit content
- Escort services
- Pharmaceutical products
- Gambling services or products
- Multi-level marketing (MLM) or pyramid schemes
- “Get rich quick” opportunities
- Credit repair / “get out of debt” offers

- Any other content that, in our judgment, harms our reputation or deliverability
Mailing List Requirements
Email should be sent to recipients who have opted in to hear from you.
If you email people who haven’t explicitly opted in (for example: limited, targeted outreach), you’re responsible for following all applicable laws and you must:
- Include a valid company name and mailing address
- Clearly explain why you’re contacting the recipient
- Provide a frictionless opt-out (unsubscribe) and honor it within 7 days
- Be confident your message provides real value
- Prefer business/organizational addresses over personal addresses
Account Abuse
Don’t create or use multiple accounts to evade quotas, limits, enforcement actions, or safety controls.
