Yes. Pro lets you share one subscription's usage across up to 10 projects, while Scale supports up to 100. That means you can cover production, staging, or multiple apps under one plan. Each project is isolated and has its own database connection.

Is there a daily cap for the free tier?

Accepted Answer

If you're on the Free tier, you can send at most 100 emails/day (it resets daily at midnight UTC). This keeps the free tier safe for everyone and protects deliverability while you're getting set up. When you're ready to send at scale, Pro removes the daily cap.

Can you just set everything up for me?

Can I split usage of one Pro plan across several projects?

Yes! For instance, on Pro, usage can be shared across up to 10 projects. That means you can run multiple products or environments without juggling separate subscriptions - each with their own project isolation inside Dreamlit.

Are marketing/promotional emails priced or counted differently than transactional emails?

Accepted Answer

Nope! Unlike other email services that charge you more for marketing/promotional emails, in Dreamlit an email is an email :).

Can I run cold outbound campaigns using Dreamlit?

Accepted Answer

Cold outbound (first-contact unsolicited) campaigns is currently not supported per our acceptable use policy (/acceptable-use-policy), since our upstream email service (AWS SES) does not allow it. We are working on a solution with a different email service provider for cold outbound; please reach out if you'd like to receive beta access.

What is sandbox mode?

Sandbox mode lets your workflows run on real events, but holds notifications for inspection and manual release instead of sending them immediately. It's the safest way to launch: validate copy, data, and timing your workflows, then manually release messages (or flip the workflow out of sandbox) when you're confident to go live.

How does Dreamlit handle deliverability?

Deliverability is a core focus. Emails are sent via AWS SES, so you get enterprise deliverability out of the box. Deliverability still depends on your list and content, but Dreamlit gives you the tooling (and help) to keep inbox placement healthy. Dedicated IPs are available as an Enterprise add-on for higher-volume senders. Furthermore, we've built our workflows infrastructure to be highly reliable, fault tolerant - events will never be dropped (https://dreamlit.ai/docs/getting-started/how-it-works), even during outages. Does Dreamlit support GDPR compliance?

No public per-notification overage rate is listed. Pro users can move to Scale, which includes 100,000 notifications per month. Scale overages and higher-volume pricing require contacting Dreamlit. We show usage in-product and warn before you hit limits, so you can plan before reaching them.
